Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7

Father, in Your mercy, hear our prayers.

Healing prayers for Dr JacksonPrint
Dr Thomas Jackson director of MEET ministry (USA evangelist / medical missionary), suffered a heart attack last Friday whilst ministering in the UK and has been in a coma all of this week.  His wife Dr Laverne Jackson has asked for a special prayer chain to pray for a miracle.  A united global prayer meeting will take place on Sunday 26th July 2015, at 2pm (GMT).
Please pray and ask your respective churches to pray also. Dr Laverne has requested daily prayer chains, which will start today Thursday 23rd July 2015 at 12:00 midday, for the next three days until 12:00 (GMT) on Saturday 25th July 2015, just praying for Dr Jackson.
Please petition God’s holy throne of grace for Dr Jackson’s healing.
